Words have the power to bring life, to kill, to destroy.
Bring life to others with our words. Never speak in haste, and be slow to respond...give yourself time to gather your thoughts and have them examined by the Master.
Jesus was able to give a response, because He was in communion with the Father.
As we commune with God, it will become easier for us to exercise discipline with our words.

Sometimes, it’s not best to have a snap back or a quip. In doing so we bring ourselves into a situation where we argue with the foolish, and then ourselves become as they are.
(He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - Proverbs 16:32)
